I’m married to Karen and we have one daughter Jessica. Originally from Sydney we have been in Brisbane at St Lucia Bible Church since November 2000.
I grew up in a Christian home and became confident that I was right with God as a teenager. I can still remember learning from Ephesians 2:8-9 that it is by Grace that I was saved, through faith, and not by works, so that I had nothing to boast in. God has promised me in his word that he has saved me, and so on that basis I have every reason to trust him to take care of me both now and through the grave into his eternal presence.
After studying Civil Engineering at UNSW, I worked for a while in the construction industry and then studied at Moore Theological College to be equipped for a life of Christian ministry.
My role at St Lucia Bible Church is to look after Morning Church, lead the ministry team and ensure that we care for God’s people well. It is my prayer that our church will be a place where many come to put their faith in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and having trusted in him, come to grow more and more like him.
My wife Karen looks after mission and membership in Women’s Ministry and the Ladies Bible Study groups which meet on Thursday mornings, where number of groups meet each week of school term to grow in their knowledge and love for Jesus and each other.
