What does it mean to be holy? Join us as we unpack this question together, looking at the character of our Holy God, his work to make the unholy holy, why holiness matters and how we can pursue it. Kelvin Smith will be unpacking this topic with us through a series of Bible talks. We’ll also have heaps of time to hang out with each other and enjoy great activities and food together!
FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH
WHO: Year 7 – Year 12 (+year 6 in Term 4)
WHEN: Friday nights 6:30 - 8:30pm
WHERE: Ironside State School Hall
Friday Night Youth is a community of high school aged young people where we enjoy connecting with God, real friendships and having fun together.
The community, along with experienced leaders, provides a safe place and a support for each other through life.
We’re all about knowing God through Jesus - shown to us in God’s Word, the Bible. We think through what it means to know and follow Jesus in the everyday. Each week we’ll hear what God has to say to us in his Word, pray, have some awesome fun, and eat supper together. Our goal is to see young people experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, and to connect with other teenagers.
Term 4
This term at Youth group we are studying the book of Luke together, looking at what Jesus said and taught.
As we read and study Luke together, we are also learning how to read the Bible using the manuscript discovery method - spotting repeated words, identifying sections and cross-references and unpacking what the passage means together in small groups.

Knowing God
Remember to also check out “Knowing God” - our ongoing course for adults! It’s at the same time and place as Youth group, so you can drop off your kids, come to “Knowing God” and collect them at the end.
SUNDAY HUNGRY CLUB
WHO: Year 7 (Yr 6 in term 4) – Year 9
WHEN: Sunday 9:30 - 11:30am
WHERE: Ironside State School Hall
Small groups to grow together and be equipped for God’s mission through studying and sharing the Bible together.
Each week we’ll hear what God has to say to us in his Word, pray, have morning tea together. Our goal is to see young people experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, and to connect with other teenagers.
YOUTH CAMP 2026
Youth camp 2026 (held on the 12th to 15th January) was another great camp of hearing from God’s word and having a ton of fun! We were taught by God’s Word in 1 Thessalonians and how we are to turn from idols to serve the living God and wait for the appearing of his Son Jesus!
